#367 – Fuzzy

for Sunday scribblings

I sit on the doorstep

The sun warming my heart

The pleasant drone of a bumble bee

I watch him eating his breakfast,

The quince his diner, growing next to me

I wonder where the worry

Of my long list of things to do has gone,

It’s all rather fuzzy now,

Lost in the drunken nectar

Of stillness in the sun.

  1. Beautiful, peaceful. So often we need this break from the hectic pace of our lives!

(Your link on Sunday Scribblings is for an older post, you might want to repost it! 🙂

  2. I love sitting in the garden or countryside and getting that fuzzy satisfied feeling of contentment with the world. You expressed it so well. (p.s. Your link on Sunday Scribblings 367 directs us to a post of yours in Nov 2102. You may wish to re-post for direct link)
