I spent a good bit of time yanking up mallow at the people’s garden this morning, and the sensory beds looked a lot better for it. I always enjoy being there, not just for the gardening but also for the people, both volunteers and visitors – its an inspiration to many, including two permaculture visitors today.

Personally my little corner of living lightly will continue tomorrow when I go back up to the garden to cover my autumn carrots and winter cabbage in a bit of fleece.
