#211 – wonder

It can catch you
at the most surprising moment.
A grey day
Punctuated with light.
The smallest flower
with its face to the sun
growing out of a crack
in the pavement.
A childs laughter
in the middle of grief,
A hug in the night
when life is pressing in,
The moment of understanding
amongst those you teach…
It’s all –

glory, glory, glory.

  1. Your poem catches the wonder that comes from being open to beauty around us. Especially in the spring, I think we see "wonder" everywhere.
