Green Dragon Meatballs

This is a recipe I have had written in a little book for years, so I don’t know who’s it is, but I really love it. R and I hadn’t had it together before, and as it was S’s birthday, I decided to do it as her birthday tea.

We had it with giant pasta and spinach. I

ts really a case of combining the green pepper, garlic, walnuts, tomato puree, soy sauce, ginger and chili with the beef mince, frying it as meatballs

and then simmering the sugar soy sauce water, wine vinegar and spring onion for the sauce.

Now I really love these meatballs and would give them a rating of: subzero, but R says they still don’t beat the chicken pie and would rate them: cool.

So I guess you will have to make them and see who you think is right 🙂
