Chicken Pie

R and I love chicken pie. We like it with thin gravy and with thick gravy, with carrots and without. We just make up our own recipies for it. We like mushrooms in our chicken pie:

We always like it with peas.
R says the peas do it colour wise.
I make it with just a crust of shortcrust pastry… cooked chicken, fry the onions and other veg, chuck it all in a pot (having previously made the pastry and put it in the fridge)
then shake some gravy granules over it, pour boiled water on it. stir it up, on goes the pastry, in the oven, and 40 minutes later,

pa-daa…

We think chicken pie is subzero 🙂
