I was looking on the internet to see if I could find a photography class. Sadly even a one day course costs £100.

I don’t have £100.

So maybe I just need to (somehow) make more time to take my own pictures.
My inexpensive compact camera, four years old and only 5 megapixel (my sister in laws phone has more) is still a way of seeing things I would have missed and the joy they bring.

I wonder if there are others out there who see more things when they have a camera in their hand?
I wonder how many stories are being told and are left hidden on peoples computers?

Perhaps I will get a photo competition running for the young people I work with, they are a bright and imaginative lot.
It would be interesting to see what they see.

  1. Well, there’s a coincidence! I too use an ancient 5mp pocket camera – it doesn’t even have an optical zoom! I use a couple of free editing sites, ‘Picnik’ I find is the best, and I’m very happy with the results. I also made a separate blog just for pictures and I’ve linked my name to it if you’d like to take a look!

  2. Wow, so you too share a passion of photography.Good to hear that. I too keep taking out my digicam and keep experimenting 🙂 The pic u have posted is really good. Would like to see more from you 🙂
